About Jabiru

Company Overview

Jabiru is an Australian Securities Listed Company (ASX), specializing in the Discovery, Development and Production of high grade / high margin massive sulphide style deposits containing a variety of base and precious metals.

Jabiru is currently producing copper and zinc (plus silver) concentrates from the Jaguar Mining Operation located 280km north of Kalgoorlie in the in the Eastern Goldfields Provence of Western Australia. The Jaguar deposit is being mined from underground at a rate of 400,000 tonnes per annum producing 9,000 tonnes of copper metal, 25,000 tonnes of zinc metal and 600,000 ounces of silver in concentrate. The recently discovered nearby high grade zinc-copper-silver-lead-gold Bentley Deposit is currently being developed with production planned for the September Quarter 2011.

The Stockman copper- zinc- silver Project, located in the alpine region of north-eastern Victoria, was acquired via a tender process from the Victorian State government in 2006. The project encompasses the historical Benambra Mine from which high grade copper and zinc was mined in the early 1990’s. Jabiru is currently completing studies on various development options for the Stockman Project.

Jabiru maintains an active and successful exploration, acquisition and development program through out Australia.
